and pine upon the first taste. A
tangy sweet maltiness in the middle,
with more citrus and caramel.
Finishes with a slight spicy earthiness

English-style Bitter Ale
This English -style bitter ale is light
in body, dark in color with great
clarity. Nice tan head with good lacing.
Aroma of dark crystal malt,
fruity esters, and strong green apple
notes. Flavors of dark brown
sugar and yeast. Fruity citrus with a
good level of hop bitterness in the
finish with some spicy hoppiness as
well. And a slight green apple flavor
in background. Between dark malts
and hops, beer is fairly bitter overall
but with enough maltiness to pairwell
with food. Moderately low
carbonation and great drinkability
makes this a great session beer.
